Despite a typographical inconsistency in the feature list referencing 50mm wafers, the shipper’s 152mm internal diameter is specifically designed to accommodate standard 150mm (6") wafers with optimal fit and stability.
Each shipper is molded from high-purity, translucent polypropylene, offering excellent chemical resistance—compatible with IPA and acetone—and ultra-low moisture absorption (<0.01%). After molding, units undergo thorough cleaning in deionized (DI) water and are double-bagged in a certified ISO Class 5 (or better) cleanroom, ensuring they arrive wafer-ready and particle-free.
Key design features include a positive-locking lid, face-down wafer orientation, and edge-only contact to prevent surface damage. Eight integrated spring cushions gently secure the wafer during transit, while the stackable profile maximizes space efficiency in storage or shipping. With a continuous use temperature of up to 55°C and ESD-safe insulating properties (low dielectric constant), these containers meet the stringent demands of modern microfabrication environments.
